Submission Checklist: Do you have everything?

There is just one week left to enter your submission to the Global Power Rankings Hackathon. Submissions are due Oct 23, 2023 11:45 PM PT.

If you haven't started a submission yet, please do so now. (We’ll walk you through our submission form process if you need help.) Make sure all of your teammates are invited and have accepted their invitations to join your submission!

Submission checklist:

Run through this list before you sit back from your project:

  • Did you build an API, notebook, or working web application for a League of Legends Global Power Ranking system using the esports data provided by Riot Games?

  • Does your project use at least one AWS service? Be sure to include an explanation of the AWS services used to build the project.

  • Does your project provide Tournament, Global, and Team rankings?

  • Did you provide access through a public URL to your working project? For submissions via API: We recommend submitting an API that will allow judges to evaluate rankings. If you choose to go this route, please use the following methods and response model

  • Did you provide a URL to your code repository to show how your project was built? If private, please be sure to share access with testing@devpost.com, riot-esports-hackathon-rg@riotgames.com, and aws-riotgames-hackathons@amazon.com

  • Have you created a submission video? Is your video public, coherent and shows how your project works? Reminder that any content over three minutes may not be viewed by judges.

  • Did you provide a Methodology write up? This should include a short explanation of the methodology of the ranking system, including any other data sources used, and participant(s) findings and learnings as they worked through the project.

  • Are all of your teammates added to your submission form? Remind them to accept the invitation so that they’re listed on the project submission!

  • Did you complete all the submission steps and are your team members listed? Your project should show it is from the My projects page

Be sure to read through the rules more than once. Or better yet, have a friend or colleague provide a second pair of eyes to make sure you didn’t miss anything.

Good luck!
